What our warranty covers, how long it lasts, what falls outside it, and how to file a claim. Reviewed by an engineer, not a chatbot.

01 · What's covered

What our warranty covers.

Every INOVIT wheel is covered against structural failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship under normal road use. That includes cracking at the rim or spoke, hub-bore deformation, weld separation on FusionForge® constructions, and bead-seat leaks not caused by tyre installation. If a wheel fails for one of those reasons, we replace it. We pay for inspection, replacement, and return shipping.

02 · How long

The length of cover.

Precision Forged and FusionForge® wheels are covered for lifetime structural for the original purchaser, and for ten years if the wheels change hands (which we encourage — register the transfer on the owner portal). Monoblock Cast wheels are covered for five years structural. Finish — the hand-applied paint, plate, or clear coat — is warranted separately for two years against premature failure not caused by stone chips, kerbing, or chemical exposure.

03 · What isn't covered

Where the cover stops.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by impact (potholes, kerbs, debris), incorrect torque or installation, modified or refinished wheels, wheels used on a vehicle outside the published fitment range, wheels used in motorsport, or cosmetic wear consistent with normal use. We document each case with photographs; in 28 years the rejection rate has been under 4%.

04 · Making a claim

How to file a claim.

Email warranty@inovit.com with your serial number, photographs of the wheel from four angles, and a short description of how the failure was discovered. A member of our engineering team replies within three working days with next steps. If the wheel needs to come back to one of our studios, we send a prepaid carrier label. The whole process averages eleven days end to end.

  • Photographs at 90° intervals — face, rear, inner barrel, lip.
  • Serial number (etched on the back of the spoke, inboard).
  • Vehicle, tyre, and mileage at time of discovery.
  • Whether the wheels were installed by an INOVIT-approved fitter.
05 · Limits

The limit of liability.

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the wheel or, at our discretion, a refund of the original purchase price. We do not cover consequential damage to tyres, brakes, suspension, or the vehicle. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence — where local law gives you more protection than this document, the law wins.

Talking to warranty.

Email warranty@inovit.com, or call our service line during US business hours at +1 (626) 555-0148. Owners in Europe can reach Drachten directly at +31 512 555 0212. We do not outsource warranty handling — every claim is reviewed by an engineer who has at least five years on the floor.
