01 · What we collectThe data we keep.
When you buy a wheel, sign up to the Journal, or contact us, we collect the information you give us — name, shipping address, email, phone, vehicle details, and the wheel specification you've ordered. We also collect technical information about your visit to inovit.com: the pages you view, the browser you use, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
We do not collect anything you haven't given us, and we do not buy lists of contacts from third parties. If we ever do, we'll tell you on this page first.
02 · How we use itWhat we use it for.
We use your information to make and ship your wheels, to answer your questions, to send you the things you've subscribed to, and to keep records the tax authorities ask us to keep. We do not use your data to train any machine-learning model. We do not sell it, and we do not rent it.
Marketing emails are sent only if you tick the box. The unsubscribe link is one click; it always works on the first try.
03 · SharingWho else sees it.
To get a wheel from our workshop to your driveway, a small number of partners need to see parts of your information. Shipping carriers see your name and address. Our payment processor sees your card number — we never do. Our email platform stores your address. We've named each of them in a sub-processor list which you can request by email and which we publish in full once a year.
04 · CookiesCookies, plainly.
The site uses two cookies. One keeps you signed in. One remembers what's in your basket. Neither is used for advertising. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels, retargeting tags, or social-media beacons. You can clear both cookies any time from your browser; nothing on the site will break.
05 · Your rightsWhat you can ask us to do.
Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold on you, to correct it, to delete it, or to send it to another provider. Email privacy@inovit.com with a short description of what you'd like done. We'll respond within fourteen days; usually faster.
- The right to access — get a copy of your data.
- The right to rectify — correct anything inaccurate.
- The right to erase — be forgotten, subject to legal retention.
- The right to object — opt out of any specific use.
